To provide an appropriate high quality audio-visual solution, GAME appointed First Choice Solutions Ltd (FCS), as their specialist contractor, to directly supply and install the complete audio-visual solutions. GAME pride themselves in providing an exciting, interactive store environment for their customers together with excellent customer services. FCS had already proved their worth by supplying and installing AV solutions in France for GAME in over 30 stores and were used to working to tight deadlines across different countries. Indeed, FCS fielded up to 5 different teams at the same time in France in addition to their existing workload for GAME in other countries

A common platform was designed for each retail store comprising Panasonic 42” plasmas and Toshiba 23” LCD screens with a matrix switcher system and multiple speakers providing independent control over the entire audio-visual system. This platform then had to be specifically tailored to suit each store as the vast majority of them were High Street stores with varying physical characteristics. A bespoke games testing console was also designed and installed to meet the particular requirements of French electrical regulations. The challenging programme was successfully completed on time and to budget by developing a great working relationship with numerous parties in the country and with head office personnel
