GAME France open new flagship store in 'La Defense'

GAME France have recently opened a new flagship store in “La Defence”, probably the largest shopping complex in Paris.

First Choice Solutions were appointed to supply and install the complete audio visual solution.

A Panasonic 65” plasma screen is ceiling mounted at the front of the store and a bank of 42” screens are integrated into a Games demonstration room.  42” screens are also integrated into the cash desks.

FCS have now been responsible for the refurbishment or installing into 190 GAME stores in France.

The refurbished store in Dijion, which has also recently been upgraded with audio visual equipment presented some technical issues. This store is in a listed building. Projectors and screens had to be carefully installed taking into account the unusual nature of store archways and walls.

Engineers installed a Sanyo projector, Panasonic 42” plasma screen’s and a small bank of 24” LCD screens.

Both stores use Kramer control systems from a data rack installed in the rear of the store.
